Matt Black and his wife, MaryBeth, have owned Benjamin Franklin Plumbing® of Port St. Lucie since 2019. When speaking with Matt about how he first got into this line of work, his story resonates with all of those who have worked their way to the top. From ’94 to 2000, Matt worked for a builder and his role often saw him dealing with plumbing companies. When he left that position, he went to work in a warehouse where, after four months, the owner offered him the position of service manager. Seven years later, Matt then went on to become the General Manager before purchasing Benjamin Franklin with MaryBeth.
